Best Car magazine has just posted a rendering of a future Lexus SC luxury coupé. This sleek black rendering appears to be an “F SPORT” model judging by the fender badge and is based off of the CALTY-designed LF-LC concept which debuted at the 2012 NAIAS in Detroit. Now that we’re getting an RC coupé later this year, there’s still a void that needs to be filled after the departure of the SC 430 in 2010. The LF-LC is short for Lexus Future Luxury Coupé. This luxury coupe concept will feature a new generation of hybrid powertrain, perhaps a technology that is similar to what’s being used in the Toyota TS030 LMP1 race car. Although this is just a rendering, we are well overdue for a flagship coupé replacement.
