If you’re planning to flout the speed limits in Florida’s central-Atlantic coast’s Indian River County, you’d better be packing some serious automotive heat of your own, for, as a brief article by Tyler Francischine of TCPalm.com informs us, Dyer Subaru of Vero Beach provided a new Subaru Impreza WRX STI 5-door hatchback to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office for 12 months at no cost, with Sheriff’s Deputy Karie Spooner the fortunate driver of this Crown Victoria-beating cop car. The populace will see it featured in the Fourth of July parade at Sebastian’s River View Park on July 3 (!), but it’s out and about already, as these pictures show.
Thanks for the tip, Omel.

It’s nice but I think some of the Police Interceptor Hi-Output Dodge Chargers in NJ still puts this to shame.. plus it does not look like a police vehicle at all.. i’m not pulling over.
Police Interceptor Hi-Output Dodge Chargers are still limited and that STI will run rings around the Charger.
This ‘STEE will not only run rings around the Charger interceptors, but it can do it GOING SIDEWAYS the whole time!!
